The Parents Visit!

I know I've been MIA.  Having a job really takes up a lot of time! haha.

So my parents came to visit this week and we took them to the pier right by our place.  Earlier this week, they spent most of their time (while Matt & I were at work) in San Diego or up by LA visiting relatives and old friends that live around here.  It was great because I didn't feel so guilty about not being around to show them around all week.

We have been so spoiled by them being here! My mom cannot stand still even though she is on vacation so she and my dad ended up buying and cooking tons of food here when we weren't home.  And they splurged on a new camera as a gift for Matt and me as a combined gift for the next few birthdays and Christmases we won't be able to spend at home.  It's a bit ridiculous, I know!! There is no way to fight them on it because they were being parents.
