This weekend, we spent another weekend at Joshua Tree National Park. It was much warmer than last time and we went with a couple of other people who all rock climb. It was fun to hang out. I bought a pair of rock climbing shoes because it's actually a physical activity that I enjoy (from the two times I've done it), but I needed to break them in, which prevented me from climbing a lot. Also, the people we went with didn't really take us to easier climbs because they're more experienced. Next time we'll have to ask to try out some easier stuff.
Here are three of my fave photos from this weekend:

The view from our first rock climbing spot. I was using Matt's binoculars to check out all the Joshua Trees below.

A really cool rock formation in the Hidden Valley Nature Trail.

Cinco de Mayo's Super Moon phenomenon... the brightest and largest full moon of the year! It was pretty awesome looking. The photo isn't even doing it justice.
when and if i ever come visit you, bring me rock climbing!!
