Last Saturday, we invited a bunch of people over for burgers, drinks, and a game of CatchPhrase at our apartment. It was nice to just hang out with a group of people again. Ever since we got out here, although it's been great in certain aspects, it has been quite lonely. Sometimes it feels like I am all alone, mainly because I usually am. I suppose that just comes with the territory when you move to a new town on the opposite side of the country from where most of your friends and family are.
On the bright side, there is no denying that I live in a beautiful place... on Sunday, Matt and I drove around LA and posh Beverly Hills. We had some In-N-Out burgers for lunch and took a walk in San Clemente to burn off some of the calories. This was only one lookout at one trail close by. I am really looking forward to exploring all the other trails in the area. :)
